Youth Ministry

Fellowship Student Ministries invites all to a sweet Valentine’s Day fundraiser at the Landers. We will have a dessert bar and photo booth for a special showing of the movie Courageous. Only 200 pairs of tickets, $15 per pair, are available for couples (or any two friends). Proceeds support the youth group summer trip to Centrifuge Camp. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the movie starting at 7:15. Come early to capture a memory at the photo booth and check out the dessert bar for treats, hot chocolate or coffee. Childcare available. Call the office, 698-9244, or sign up in the lobby Sunday to reserve your tickets.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Missions

For more information about the June 2-8 Guatemala trip, contact Ken Paul, kpaul7285@gmail.com.

Amos and Meredith Anderson, WorldVenture missionaries in Albania, ask continued prayer support as they still contend with heating problems in their new home. Their neighbors report the winter is the worst in 30 years. The Andersons are thankful they have adapted with small electric space heaters and extra layers of warm clothing. They face other challenges as well, and so ask for your prayers for working with their landlord, that they can find a solution that won’t require moving, that they can find a vehicle for their travels, for strength in spiritual warfare against the enemy and for wisdom as they reach out to a teen-age Albanian girl in a traumatic situation.

Scrapbook Session

If you like to scrapbook or would like to learn, join friends this Saturday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Landers. Contact Debbie Fulbright (ddfulbright@yahoo.com) for more information. Beginners should bring some photos you would like to include, and the group will have supplies to help you try your hand at this craft.

New Small Group

Stan and Shanna Fretwell will lead a new small group that will meet for the first time Sunday, Feb. 19, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Fretwell home. The group will begin with the “Courageous” Bible study, an eight-week parenting study. Childcare will be provided. Contact Shanna, 870-262-7435, to join the group and register for the study.
