Diners will find a variety of homemade soups, including black bean, Korean spicy beef, red bean and rice, tortilla, vegetable, Portuguese chorizo and kale, and creamy potato, along with refreshments and breads. The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas awarded Fellowship an honorable mention for Excellence in Preservation through Rehabilitation “for bringing the 1906 Landers Theater back from the brink and adapting it for use as a church and community center.” The alliance honored 14 projects or individuals throughout the state at its annual awards ceremony Jan. 13 in Little Rock.
Scrapbook Session
If you like to scrapbook or would like to learn, join friends Saturday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Landers. Contact Debbie Fulbright for more information. Beginners should bring some photos you would like to include, and the group will have supplies to help you try your hand at this craft.
Lost And Found
A 16GB SG memory card (likely from a phone or other mobile device) was found Sunday in the sanctuary. If someone you know is missing this tiny object, please call Laura Ong at 834-6203 to retrieve it.
We also have a key and lock remote for a Ford Escape left a few weeks ago in the sanctuary. Visit the sound booth at the Sunday service or call the church office, 698-9244, to retrieve.
Connect
Connect+Scripture offers a five-days-a-week schedule to read the Bible in a year, and an archive of devotionals by Fellowship members who followed the plan throughout 2011. Connect with those we don’t know at the service each Sunday by offering a warm welcome to our many visitors and new faces.
